Artist biography
I am a theatre-maker and facilitator with a focus on collaboration, devising, writing, movement, and community engagement.
I often make work in collaboration with the intended audience, fusing audio and text materials from real life with theatrical, imaginative worlds. I have been artist-in-residence at the Hawk's Well Theatre, Sligo, since 2021. During this time I wrote four plays, two of which were brought to full production (Hear Me Speak!, Snapshot), and two of which were staged as rehearsed readings (Anna Adrift, The Wonder Horse).
I also facilitated various community workshops, including Creative Writing with service users from the local Domestic Violence Refuge, drama workshops with intellectually disabled adults at The Bridge Project, and playwrighting with teenagers through the New Voices programme.
I have worked as a facilitator for over ten years, in various settings and with diverse groups. My facilitation experience includes working with children and adults in refugee camps in France, Greece, and India, delivering drama and yoga workshops, and teaching yoga classes as Gaeilge in primary and secondary schools with Oga Yoga.
