Youth Theatre Ireland ensures the welfare of young people in three ways:
- By providing training, information, and other welfare supports including a Garda Vetting service to our members
- By ensuring that robust welfare procedures and policies are inherent in the planning and delivery of all programmes involving young people
- By complying with all best practice and statutory guidelines for working with children and young people
