                        Youth Theatre Ireland is committed to complying with the EU GDPR regulation. We will use personal data only where consent to do so is affirmative, freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. At the point of requesting personal or sensitive information from individuals we will provide specific information on how the data will be used and retained.

                        Youth Theatre Ireland recognises the right to privacy of all users of this website.  This Privacy Policy demonstrates our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information. As a youth-centred and youth-focused organisation, we are particularly cognisant of the need to protect young users of this site. We have developed an Acceptable Usage Policy (see below) which all users must comply with.                         Youth Theatre Ireland's e-newsletter, Intermission, is sent only to members and those who have requested it.

                        This type of non-personal user information and data referred to above can be collected through the standard operation of our internet servers and logs as well as "cookies".                         Youth Theatre Ireland contracts with trusted third parties, such as AddThis and PayPal, to provide certain services.

                        AddThis– We use AddThis (owned by Oracle) to allow you to share information found on our site through your own social networks and other destinations. According to AddThis’s privacy policy, AddThis data is not collected from individuals located in Europe. For those outside of Europe, AddThis collects: unique IDs such as a cookie ID on your browser; your IP address and related information, such as geographic location; information about your device, such as browser, device type, operating system, the presence or use of ‘apps’, screen resolution, or the preferred language; the date and time you visited this website; and the referring URL and the web search you used to locate and navigate to our website.

                        PayPal– We use PayPal to process our online payments. On Youth Theatre Ireland’s behalf, PayPal processes all payment information strictly in accordance with PayPal’s privacy policy. Paying for your annual membership subscription or buying a publication on our website means that we obtain limited information about the payment card, such as the last four digits of the card number, the country of issue and expiry date, from PayPal our payment processor.
