Youth Theatre Ireland is committed to supporting the professional development of youth theatre practitioners.
We offer a variety of training opportunities designed to develop youth theatre facilitation and youth theatre management skills. Opportunities include:
- QQI Accredited Training Courses in Youth Drama Facilitation
- Masterclasses
- Child Protection Awareness Training. Contact Cathal Thornton, Child Protection and Wellbeing Officer for latest training offers.
- Two or Three day regional training events run in conjunction with partners including Local Authorities, ETBs, and other agencies and organisations. Recent partnerships include Cork Local Creative Youth Partnership, Ealaín na Gaeltachta , and Kerry Local Creative Youth Partnership.
