Synopsis
'The Oasis' is a vibrant, larger-than-life comedy with heart and music, set in a whimsical, slightly rundown hotel. When Mona, the beloved owner, dies, The Oasis teeters on the brink of collapse, tangled in debt and disrepair. Yet Mona isn't quite ready to let go — she narrates from beyond the grave, hoping to influence the future of her life's work.
Mona’s death reveals hidden family secrets, including long-lost siblings unaware of each other’s existence, while an unexpected art heist unfolds amidst the chaos. As her loyal staff struggle to keep the hotel afloat, Mona’s children, quirky guests, and even a resident duck find themselves asking questions about life, art, family, and what truly matters.
With a lively, comic tone and three original songs woven into the story, The Oasis is a celebration of resilience, connection, and the unexpected ways we find meaning.
