A village called Skønhed, where young people have magic. The play is set in its own time, and the world can be created by the group.
                                Note
The play includes puppetry sequences, which can be devised and performed using whatever is available to the group.
                                First performance
First produced and performed by Activate Youth Theatre, Cork, in April 2023 at Graffiti Theatre.
                                Synopsis
“Growing up” is just another way of saying “losing your magic” to the people of Skønhed. Neasa is dreading an adulthood filled with disenchantment and cold soup – until they meet Sophie, a girl from beyond the walls, who reveals that life in Skønhed may not be what it seems… A play about community, kindness, and fighting for your right to magic!
