Cruinniú na nÓg is a national day of youthful creativity with free events and performances for children and young people across Ireland on June 11th. Youth Theatre Ireland members will hold over 50 workshops around the county to mark this important day of creativity for young people.
Over 25 Youth Theatre Ireland members will hold workshops in all aspects of drama and theatre including writing, performance, technical skills and stage combat.
Eoghan Doyle, Director, Youth Theatre Ireland is delighted to be part of activities on June 11th. “Youth Theatre Ireland are delighted to be partnering with the Creative Ireland Programme and with Youth Theatres across Ireland to offer free workshops as part of Cruinniú na Óg. Youth Theatre is a great space for young people to engage with others and to develop important skills.”
Youth Theatre Ireland is the National Development Organisation for Youth Theatre in Ireland. They support over 2,400 young people and over 250 voluntary and paid leaders across 60 youth theatre groups. Youth Theatre Ireland’s vision is to empower young people through theatre and to provide access to youth theatre to every young person in Ireland.
