Youth Theatre Cost of Living Supports - Grants available

Youth Theatre Ireland recognise the impact of the cost of living crisis has had on youth theatres across the country, from the costs to run the youth theatre to the financial impact on young people attending. In recognition of these challenges, and with thanks to the support of the Arts Council and Creative Ireland we are pleased to announce two grants aimed at supporting running costs for youth theatre groups and supporting young people to access their local youth theatre. The €500 Youth Theatre Costs Grant will support youth theatres with the increase cost of running their youth theatre due to the cost of living crisis. The €150 Bursary Support Grant is to enable youth theatres offer support to a young person(s) in their community to access youth theatre who would not ordinarily, or as a result of the cost of living crisis, attend youth theatre.To apply for both the €500 youth theatre costs grant and the €150 bursary support grant please fill out the short online application form here. Applications are welcome from all affiliated youth theatre groups. The deadline for receipt of applications is 5pm on Wednesday 14th December.
