It is with immense pleasure and excitement that we invite past Young Critics to a unique event, commemorating 20 years of the Young Critics with Youth Theatre Ireland/ NAYD.
Over the past two decades, the Young Critics has brought youth theatre members from across Ireland together to see some unforgettable shows, introduce them to the art of theatre criticism, and create lifelong friendships.
Join us for an unforgettable reunion to see the current generation of youth theatre artists in the National Youth Theatre Production of Like We Were Born To Move by Eimear Hussey at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin on August 18th.
It is the perfect time to reunite and celebrate the incredible success we have achieved together. The reunion is a chance to reconnect with old friends and celebrate the 20th anniversary of one of our most innovative and beloved programmes.
Networking, Nostalgia, and New Memories
In addition to experiencing the National Youth Theatre's production Alan King will run a workshop for all those of you who wish to revive your Young Critics experiences, connect, and share your stories. It will be an opportunity to forge new connections with like-minded individuals who share your passion for theatre and creativity. The event will culminate in a celebration, complete with refreshments, as we create new memories together.
Spread the Word
We kindly request your support in spreading the word about this celebration among your fellow Young Critics. Feel free to share this invitation with your networks and encourage them to join us for an evening of theatrical brilliance, nostalgia, and celebration as we honour 20 years of Young Critics. We really look forward to seeing you all again, to catch up, share memories and create new stories. If you have any questions please contact Alan King.
