Everyman’s TMACC-YP Affiliates with Youth Theatre Ireland

Launched in 2021, TMACC-YP is the result of a collaboration between The Everyman and YMCA Cork. Their shared vision, rooted in principles of cultural citizenship, community engagement, and well-being, has cultivated a unique and impactful model for young people.

The program provides a free, fun, and supportive environment where participants are encouraged to find their voice, build a strong community ("their tribe"), and grow into their roles as citizen artists. Through weekly sessions, they collaborate to create compelling theatre for, by, and with young people, bringing their perspectives to the stage.

The success of TMACC-YP is underpinned by the combined expertise of professional theatre-makers and YMCA youth support workers, ensuring a well-rounded and nurturing experience for all involved.

Youth Theatre Ireland proudly welcomes TMACC-YP to our network. Their commitment to fostering creativity, confidence, and active citizenship among young people aligns perfectly with our mission. We look forward to supporting their continued growth and celebrating the vibrant contributions they bring to
the youth theatre landscape in Ireland.

TMACC-YP join an ever growing network of youth theatres in Cork city and country, provided unparalleled access to youth theatre activities in the country.
