Death Notice of Patrick (Paddy) O'Dwyer

Youth Theatre Ireland are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of one of Youth Theatre Ireland’s founding members Paddy O’Dwyer.

Paddy was a trailblazer, who valued young people as creative artists and socially engaged citizens. He embodied all of the values that Youth Theatre Ireland still holds to today. He inspired so many people with his passion for the arts, and his kindness. He will be sorely missed.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to Jean, Des, Deirdre, Ciara, Colm, and all of the extended family.

Funeral details
Reposing at his home on Monday from 4.00pm – 6.00pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook arriving at 10.50am for Funeral Mass at 11.00am, followed by burial at Kilmashogue Cemetery. No flowers please, donations, if desired, to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

The Youth Theatre Ireland office will be closed on Tuesday 3rd of September as a mark of respect.
