Since its foundation in 1998, Sligo Youth Theatre has been dedicated to engaging their membership of 10 to 18 year old members in a diverse, exiting theatre practice and to creating a vibrant engagement with the arts. SYT provides an annual programme of theatre workshops to more than 90 young people. Drama workshops encourage social and personal development through theatre practice and artistic expression. Specialist workshops include week-long courses in theatre, dance, and theatre design. SYT’s programme also includes high quality productions.
