Clare Youth Theatre (CYT) has an ensemble esprit de corps where, in the making of art, it is “all for one and one for all". Since its inception, participating in community events has played a significant role in the style of creative work produced. Relationships have been established and developed with local festivals, community celebrations, and in care settings. In recent times CYT has performed internationally at the interTWINed Festival in Germany. Clare Youth Theatre also creates work around issues pertaining to mental health. CYT’s training programme creates an atmosphere that allows each young person to feel safe and supported both personally and creatively.
