Artist biography
Sinéad is a qualified and experienced drama facilitator who uses drama and storytelling as means to explore personal and group identities and provide a space to explore alternate ways of being.
Sinéad is interested in multifacted approaches to youth work, using the arts including visual art, crafts, mapping, storytelling, movement and drama to explore identities and possibilities with young people from a range of backgrounds; particularly from new communities and youth who have experienced displacement.
Sinéad focuses on ensemble building, movement and image building before introducing more formal elements such as script work, scenework etc. but takes her lead from the group in terms of needs and pathways that young people are interested in exploring. In this way Sinéad's work is deeply responsive and flexible.
