Facilitators and educators will find a step by step approach to delivering a theatre criticism programme to their group, everything from preparing them for the theatre experience to creating their own reviews.
This section will help you find out more about your group’s interests and attitudes to theatre while facilitating them in voicing their own views.
Some young people may have already seen dozens of shows, be experienced performers or have worked backstage. Some may never have set foot in a theatre before.
After Workshop 1, participants should be at ease and will have begun to build a shared vocabulary and understanding of theatre.
