One of Youth Theatre Ireland’s most popular programmes, the Young Critics 2024 kicked off the year at Cork Midsummer Festival from the 19thto the 21st of June.
The Young Critics saw 2 shows over the Cork Midsummer Festival: Tempesta by Deirdre Kinahan and Detached & The Moth by Elaine McCague. This experience culminated in a public panel hosted at Cork Arts Theatre, where our youth theatre members presented their opinions and views to the public.
The programme is led by Rebecca Feely, National Programme Co-Ordinator and esteemed academic and theatre critic, Dr. Karen Fricker.
