As a working film and theatre director, and someone aspiring to improve their facilitation and directing technique over a mix of various art forms, I feel that we can learn a lot from theatre in terms of directing and the idea of 'play' and 'workshopping'. I think I could implement a lot of what is learned into my own practise, because I have first-hand experience of how beneficial care and facilitation of this nature can be, and how it positively affects the work of any project.
