Youth Theatre Ireland’s Young Critics Cast Their Critical Eye Over The Dublin Theatre Festival

Youth Theatre Ireland’s Young Critics Cast Their Critical Eye Over The Dublin Theatre Festival

Once again, Youth Theatre Ireland’s Young Critics run riot at the Dublin Theatre Festival. Drawing from our membership nationwide, our panel of twelve young women and four young men cast their critical eye on three productions on offer from the DTF.

Working alongside theatre academic and professional theatre critic Karen Fricker and our own Alan King, the Young Critics have been honing their critical skills through workshops and online discussion. They have also been seeing lots of theatre and creating their own criticism in familiar and unusual forms….

Come join us at Project Arts Centre on Sunday October 13th at 1pm where the Young Critics will be discussing:

Sopro by Tiago Rodrigues

Us/Them by Carly Wijs

Burgerz by Travis Albanza

Our revolving panel of Young Critics will be approaching each production with their own trademark honesty, humour and fresh perspective.

The panel will be chaired by Dr. Karen Fricker.
