Young Critics at the Dublin Theatre Festival

Young Critics at the Dublin Theatre Festival

The Young Critics are back. Get a different perspective on this year’s Dublin Theatre Festival programme as 16 young people from across Ireland share their critical responses at a public panel chaired by Dr.  Karen Fricker on 07 October at the Project Arts Centre.

Since April, the Young Critics have been honing their critical skills through workshops and online discussion with the support of professional theatre critics and facilitators. They have also been seeing lots of  theatre and creating their own criticism in familiar and unusual forms….
The DTF productions under discussion are:
ELIZA’S Adventures in the Uncanny Valley (Pan Pan Theatre Company. At the Samuel Beckett Theatre)
Hamlet  (The Gate Theatre)
NASSIM (Nassim Soleimanpour/Bush Theatre, UK. At the Project Cube)

Venue: Project Arts Centre (Cube)
Date: 7 Oct, 1pm

How to Book

Attendance at the event is free but advance booking is necessary.
Tickets are available by phone on 01 677 8899 or in person at Dublin Theatre Festival Box Office, Festival House, Essex Street East, Temple Bar, Dublin 2.
