Welfare Officers sought for panel - Deadline 05 May
Youth Theatre Ireland engages Welfare Officers on an occasional, short-term basis for programmes involving the participation of young people. Welfare Officers are key members of the Youth Theatre Ireland team on these projects. We are seeking to create a panel of suitable individuals who can be called upon to carry out the role.
The main focus of this role is chaperoning and supporting participants on programmes such as the National Youth Theatre and the Young Critics. A full role description and person specification is downloadable below.
- Once admitted to the panel, Welfare Officers can be offered occasional work on Youth Theatre Ireland projects on a contract for services basis. Please note: Admittance to the panel is not a guarantee of work;
- Fees will differ depending on the nature of the engagement but average at €100 per shift;
- Panelists may be required to go on training from time to time;
- Admittance to the panel is subject to Garda Vetting.
